Your Responsibilities
How are toothbrushes and chocolates packaged? What product protection must a package offer? As a packaging developer, you know the customer requirements of major global brands for their packaging: From the structure and design of the packaging to the integration of the packaging into large-scale production at the customer's site. You'll combine your knowledge and skills from packaging engineering with Chocal's new sustainable innovations in natural materials, high-end mechanical engineering and process technology. From concept to implementation, you'll be there making a significant contribution to a world without plastic waste with colleagues from machine development, business development, sales and project management.
This includes the following tasks:
You are a development partner for our customers and responsible for the development of new, innovative and sustainable packaging concepts using the Chocal process.
You have a portfolio of new innovative and sustainable materials as well as a modular kit of our system technology at your disposal, which you can use to inspire the packaging development and marketing of our customers.
You are a consultant and development partner to our customers for the optimal packaging both in terms of sustainability, product protection and design of the packaging as well as for the optimal integration of the Chocal packaging machine technology into the customer product manufacturing.
You work in a team and in coordination with the relevant departments and suppliers.
Your Qualifications
As a Packaging Developer at Chocal, you will play a key role in our company. We are looking for a colleague with passion, commitment and expertise in packaging technology. To achieve this, we value these qualifications:
You have a successfully completed degree with a focus on production engineering, packaging technology or a related field, technician training or a comparable qualification.
You have experience in the design of packaging machines and tools or comparable machine and tool technologies.
You approach challenges openly and positively. You enjoy working in a team.
Your way of working is characterized by reliability, independence and systematics, coupled with analytical competence, creativity and organizational talent.
