Your Responsibilities
You will play a key role in our business, ensuring that we source the necessary raw materials and supplies to manufacture our products. This includes the following tasks:
Performing a wide variety of activities related to the strategic and operational purchasing of the company in the national and international supplier environment
Price, condition and contract negotiations including complaint management
Independent implementation of purchasing projects
Ensuring on-time, quality and cost-appropriate procurement of inquiries and offer evaluations from purchase orders and deadline tracking to deliveries
Securing of stock levels (determination and monitoring), logistics and maintenance of master data in the ERP system as well as coordination of inventory processes
Intensive cooperation in the development of purchasing concepts and their implementation, as well as in the continuous optimization and standardization of the process landscape
Active participation in the design of purchasing processes and the development of our supplier relationships
Your Qualifications
As part of our dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to contribute your sourcing and procurement expertise and work closely with our engineering and production teams to utilize the latest and most innovative materials and technologies to continuously improve our packaging. We value these qualifications:
Technical or commercial training or a comparable qualification (e.g. university degree).
First professional experience in technical purchasing
Experience in international procurement of components in mechanical engineering as well as a strong technical understanding
Knowledge of MS Office and the use of ERP systems
Negotiation skills and assertiveness
Business fluent in English
Reliable, independent and systematic way of working
